Shipping & Returns

Can I return my Nepal Tea Collective product?

Our policy lasts 30 days. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

What are the shipping methods available?

We normally use USPS and UPS for shipping. You will have the option to choose the shipping method provided by these carriers on check out screen.

Where does my order ship from?

Thank you for considering an order with us! We’re a small team that packs all online orders ourselves, so it usually takes between 1-3 business days to process and fulfill orders. Please note that this timeline starts from the first business day after the order was placed.

Is your tea organic certified?

Yes and no! Every single item in our collection is 100% organic. Two of the four tea estates that we work with is certified organic. Read more about Nepal’s first certified organic tea estate here.

But the remaining two farms in Nepal, despite following all the protocols to ensure a 100% organic products, do not have the certification. Achieving an organic certification is quite an expensive affair for all of them. That is the reason why we share 1% of our total revenue with the farmers so that we can help them get their already organic teas certified. and help them reach their products to a global conscious consumers.

Is your tea gluten-free?

Yes, all of our Nepali loose leaf teas are gluten free.

Where does your tea come from?

Till 2022, our teas come from four smallholder farms in Nepal. Their names are Kanchanjangha Tea Estate and Research Center, Baraha Tea Estate, La Mandala Tea Estate and Jasbirey Tea Processing Center. We are always looking to partner with diverse talent whose work make Nepali teas more interesting than it already is.

Where is your tea shop located?

We don’t have a tea shop. All our teas are available for purchase online on our website- nepalteacollective.com. We have an office in New York and a small but energetic team in Kathmandu.

Can Nishchal or someone from your factory come speak at my event?

Yes. Please do invite us to your event. Nepali teas can use all the ears there are in the world. If you’re interested in tasting the teas themselves, we have a range of tea-tasting classes available here. Book your company/event a session with our team!
