Founded by three passionate entrepreneurs, Asmin Uprety and Neepun Raj Shrestha in Denmark, alongside Surendra Sangraula in Nepal, YETIKØ creates a direct connection between pristine Himalayan tea gardens and tea lovers across Europe.

We bring Nepal's rare, high-altitude teas grown by generations of dedicated farming families — directly to the world, pairing Himalayan heritage with Scandinavian purity to create a farm-to-cup journey that's as fair as it is flavorful.

Yet, despite this world-class craft, true Nepalese tea remains largely underrepresented in global markets. We saw an extraordinary tradition waiting to be brought into the spotlight.

Asmin Uprety

Based in Denmark, Asmin leads the practical, day-to-day work of bringing YETIKØ to life across Europe. From importing and warehousing to fulfillment, Asmin ensures every package is handled with care.
Building the brand through genuine relationships, Asmin works closely with local cafés, shop owners, and tea drinkers across Scandinavia and Europe, growing YETIKØ thoughtfully while keeping its Himalayan roots authentic.
Surendra Sangraula
| Co-founder
Rooted at the source, Surendra is YETIKØ's connection to Nepal's high-altitude tea regions. He works directly with farming families, visits tea gardens, and builds relationships based on fairness and mutual respect.
Surendra oversees harvest selection and carefully inspects each batch to preserve the natural character of the leaf. From local packaging to export logistics, his dedication ensures every shipment reflects the hard work of Nepalese farmers and the freshness of Himalayan tea.
Neepun Raj Shrestha

Working alongside Asmin in Denmark, Neepun focuses on making YETIKØ a natural part of everyday European tea culture. From managing operations and distribution to connecting with local communities, Neepun helps turn the brand's vision into reality.
With a focus on honest relationships rather than loud claims, Neepun helps YETIKØ steadily grow while creating a meaningful bridge between Himalayan tea traditions and European routines.
THREE FOUNDEERS - ONE SHARED RESPONSIBILITY
The work is divided, but the responsibility is shared. One side of the team works closer to the tea gardens, while the other works closer to the customers. Between them is everything that makes YETIKØ possible: sourcing, quality, packaging, logistics, relationships, communication, and the continuous effort to do things a little better.

We believe great tea starts long before it reaches the cup. It starts with the land, the people who care for it, and the relationships built around it.At YETIKØ, we take a thoughtful approach to sourcing. We work closely with trusted tea estates and producers in Nepal to understand where our tea comes from, how it is grown, and how it is made. This allows us to choose teas not simply because they are available, but because they have something worth sharing.

High-altitude Himalayan tea is deeply delicate. By harvesting in small, mindful batches and shipping directly from Nepal to Denmark, we capture peak aroma and natural flavor. We commit to multi-year sustainable
sourcing partnerships with farming communities, providing stable, fair income regardless of global market swings. This lets families plan for the future, invest in organic farming methods, and grow alongside us.
